Publix Mosaic

Replica of a mosaic that once adorned a Fort Lauderdale Publix. It was destroyed when the store was torn down in the 1980s. The mosaic shows a goddess holding a platter of food as she greets Native Americans.
The replica was installed last year at a former Publix in Lakeland Fl on Massachusetts Ave., now the tax collectors office. It was paid for by the grandson of Publix founder George Jenkins.
